The hotel in Cairo will be picked up. Take a private vehicle to get to El Fayoum, which is 95 km away. When you get to El Fayoum, you’ll be taken to Karanis, where the ruins of an old city are.

Many monuments in this city date back to Roman, Coptic, and recently Islamic times. Visit Lake Qarun to see lots of different kinds of birds. This lake is the third longest lake in Egypt and is thought to be the oldest natural lake in the whole world.

Then, go 55 km northwest of El Fayoum to the Palace of Qaroun, the itch has temples still in good shape.

Then you’ll go to Wadi El Rayan, which was put on the list of protected areas in 1989. Wadi El Rayan is a natural area 42 m below sea level and in the western desert, and it also has two lakes connected by the only waterfalls in Egypt. These waterfalls were formed in 1970 when water from the Fayoum fields drained too quickly.
