Tour Plan
Our representative will take you from your hotel in Cairo to the airport, where you can catch a flight to Luxor. When you arrive in Luxor, you will meet our local English-speaking guide and start seeing the sights. Visit Karnak Temple, a large open-air museum with important ancient Egyptian artifacts. During the New Kingdom, people went to Luxor Temple, connected to the Karnak Temple by a sphinx-lined street called the Dromos. Two pharaohs, Amenhotep III (who built the interior) and Ramesses II, did most of the work (they completed the temple).
Lunch in a typical local restaurant.
After finishing your tour, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Luxor.
Optional Tour:
Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple at night.
After breakfast at the hotel, your local guide will take you to the West Bank. You will go to the Valley of the Kings, an ancient Egyptian cemetery where most of the tombs of the pharaohs of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties are located, as well as queens, princes, nobles, and even some animals. Transfer to Deir el-Bahri to see the Temple of Hatshepsut, a group of tombs and tomb temples on the west bank of the Nile.

Finally, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your return to Cairo. When you return to Cairo, you will be transferred to your hotel, and your two-day tour ends in Luxor by plane.
