Giza pyramid complex

The complex includes three main pyramids, six small pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. The complex dates back to the Fourth Dynasty, 2400 BC.

The Great Pyramid

A granite mortuary temple was used by the ancient Egyptians in the mummification process and this is the only remaining temple on the Giza plateau.
