Giza pyramid complex

The Giza Pyramid Complex, which dates back more than 4,000 years and includes three main pyramids, six smaller pyramids, the massive solitary guard Sphinx, and the Valley Temple, is the most stunning vivid image of ancient Egypt that can be found.

The Great Pyramid of Giza

The Great Pyramid is one of the oldest and most prominent structures in the world, and it has reached the sky since its construction in 2580 BC, making it more than 4,500 years old. It was built in 20 years using 2,300,000 limestone blocks and stood 147 meters (481 ft) tall, making it the tallest building in the world for 3,800 years until the 18th century.

The Great Sphinx of Giza

The Great Sphinx is a mysterious guardian figure from above that appeared during the Ancient Kingdom of Egypt (2686-2181 BC). It is the oldest statue in history with a height of 73 meters (240 ft) and a width of 19 meters (66 ft) in the form of a mythical creature called the Sphinx with a body Lion and head of King Khafra to show the the the power and wisdom.

Valley Temple

One of the best preserved archaeological sites of ancient Egypt, the Valley Temple is composed entirely of limestone and granite and includes diorite carvings of Khafre. It dates back to the Old Kingdom and is one of the best-preserved archaeological sites in Egypt.

Lunch will be served in a restaurant overlooking the pyramids and the Nile, followed by a tour of:

Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum houses more than 120,000 rare ancient Egyptian artifacts dating back more than 4,000 years from different periods, ranging from lavishly rich materials such as gold and precious stones in the form of jewelry and small figures to ordinary materials such as wood or stone in the form of statues and funerary objects. The most famous treasures are those of King Tutankhamun and Ramesses II, but the museum also has many mummies on display.

Then transfer to Cairo Airport, where you will fly to Aswan and settle in a 5-star hotel for the night.

Day 2: Visit the Temple of Abu Simbel

Grab your breakfast boxes and check out of the hotel on your second day, then continue your two-day travel from Cairo to Abu Simbel via Luxor by visiting:

Abu Simbel Temples

The two colossal temples of Abu Simbel were a heavenly gift to Ramses the Great (1279-1213 BC), who built them as the sole guardian of the southern borders under the name “Temple of Ramesses, Treasured by Amun.” The main temple is dedicated to Ramses II, and the second is to his beloved wife, Queen Nefertari. The Sun Festival takes place on February 22 and October 22 each year. The sun shines on the faces of the four seated statues of Ramesses II, Ptah (the god of creation), Amun (the creator god), and Ra (the sun god). . Recognized as the most challenging archaeological rescue in history, UNESCO directed the mission to save the temple in the mid-1960s.

Then you’ll return to Aswan for lunch before catching the train to Luxor, ending your two-day trip in Cairo and Abu Simbel. Note: You are welcome to express your thoughts on whether any excursions should be included or removed from your tour schedule to meet and satisfy your requirements.
