Tour Plan

Itinerary : Day Trip to the East Bank of Luxor

You will have an Egyptologist tour guide with you in the morning as you explore the main temples in Luxor, starting at:

Karnak Temple

The heavenly Karnak Temple is one of the most revered sites, and the Pr-In House of Amon is a celestial religious marvel that honors the Theban trinity of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. The temple complex spans 247 acres and includes massive inner temples, shrines, and massive pillars; it is considered the most significant religious capital in human history. It was built between the Middle Kingdom and the Greco-Roman era between 2055 BC and 100 AD.

After a leisurely lunch at a restaurant in Luxor, continue your tour to see:

Luxor Temple

The most important event, the Opet Festival, was centered around the Luxor Temple. The temple was built primarily by Amenhotep III and Ramesses II, and its function was to serve as a site for festival rituals. The event’s purpose was to bring the two halves of the divine and human ruler closer together.

Food: lunch

After that, we will take you back to your hotel or Nile cruise.
